Amateur

My friend, Jen Schmidt, usually comes in on days I am cooking to take photos of my food so I can build a gallery of my meals.  Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago she was stricken with a terrible virus and was unable to take pics of my Slow-Cooked Barbecue Pork Sandwiches on fresh rolls with Creamy Coleslaw.  I decided to take along my own camera and see what I could come up with. 

Let's just say that when it comes to cooking I am in my element.  But when it comes to photography I have a LOT to learn!  After taking dozens of photos this is the only one that was even worth posting - and it is so unbelievably far from the quality of Jen's work!

The good news is that Jen is now feeling much better and visited the kitchen last night to photograph my Sundried Tomato Crusted Chicken Breasts with Rosemary Roasted Red Potatoes and Brown Sugar Glazed Peas and Carrots.  Those images I will gladly share with you!!!
